City of Eitzen

In many small towns of southern Minnesota, annual festivals, gatherings, and celebrations help to mark the passing of time and the seasons. Whether it’s church suppers, fish fries, founders’ day parades, winter festivals, or holiday celebrations, each community has its own unique traditions. Eitzen, with a population just over 200, is no exception. This little town puts on a big show each Fourth of July during its Family Fun Fest. Festivities include fireworks, a parade, tractor pull, softball and volleyball tournaments, kids games, petting zoo, and more.
