Erickson is the founder and curator of the Peterson Station Museum. Often
seen assisting him is his wife Darlene. This is a must see while you are in
Peterson! It is a completely restored historic railroad depot. The depot was
moved to its current location from a spot next to the old railway. The
railway was converted to the current Root River Bike Trail. The museum
features a large collection of historical items from the local area and
doubles as the Peterson Tourist Center. A new addition was built recently to
house the expanding collection. Hours: Memorial Day to Labor day most day
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Call or e-mail for exact hours. |
