Forestville Open House & Visitor Appreciation Day Date: Sunday June 1, 2008
Time: 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Historic Forestville
Admission: Free / No state park vehicle permit required

Event description:  On this day, in honor of Minnesota's 150th birthday,
enjoy an open house day and tour of Historic Forestville free of charge. Travel back in time as you experience the settlement village of Forestville as it was in 1899. Browse the Meighen family store complete with 19th century merchandise. Feel the warmth and enjoy the aroma of a working turn of the century kitchen. Visit with first person costumed interpretive staff thoughout the site. No state park vehicle permit required on this day. |
